Stop and think about it for a minute: a city without cars, where the biking is carefree! Wow! For the thousands of Montrealers who pedal year-round, it’s a piece of paradise. That’s why the Montreal Bike Fest, with its festive celebrations like Un Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Île de Montréal, is beginning to look like a biking high mass - an almost sacred gathering where time seems to stand still. In addition to these popular events is the Metropolitan Challenge - for those who want to push themselves a little further - as well as Operation Bike-to-Work, which is gaining new daily biking fans every year. Get ready to experience a week in paradise. Sébastien Delorme Spokesperson, Montréal Bike Fest Unveiling of the 2012 program On hand were, Tuesday, April 3, Sébastien Delorme, Manon Barbe (Ville de Montréal), Nicole Dubé (Fédération des producteurs de lait du Québec), Joëlle Sévigny (Vélo Québec Événements) and Richard Coutu (Jean Coutu Group). |
